- Summary
- This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have Malfunction Indicator Lamp on and the vehicle will not charge. Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code P0D22. Technician will need to review the Diagnostic Trouble Code P0D22 freeze frame data in Global Diagnostic System 2 that it is stored in a session log. Technician should clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code. If charging returns to normal using both a 240 volt charger as well as a 120 volt charger during testing, the vehicle can be released. Dealer should communicate to the customer that we apologize for this inconvenience and that General Motors is working on a solution for this concern.
