What kind of car needs a new transmission with only $58,000. miles. The $7,700. quote was the quote from the Chevrolet dealer to replace the transmission.
I HAVE NEVER HAD NOR HEARD OF A CAR NEEDING A NEW TRANSMISSION AT 58,000. miles. The car is one of the early volts purchased one year before it actually hit the road.
I would think this would be a defect in the car which was always serviced by the dealer for any other significant problems.
Any advice from anyone?
