The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Venture. The contact stated that while refueling, fuel sprayed from the filler neck valve. The vehicle was towed to a private mechanic, who stated that the fuel tank had failed. The contact was also informed by the dealer that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 07E021000 (fuel system, other). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted about the failure. The failure mileage was 70,000. Updated 10/17/13
Just bought 2005 Chevrolet Venture mini van from dealer we have very dim head lights, dangerous at night to drive!, notice defective exterior lighting: Headlights defect description: Eagle eyes is recalling headlamp assemblies : Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard no. 108, lamps reflective devices. Theses head lamps do not contain the required amber side reflectors. I contacted them on 1-26-09 left message, have not received reply. Also contacted delphi about the fuel pressure regulator that were produced with out an O' ring and retainer for this same year Chevy Venture. Haven't received any reply.
