We bought this van when it was 1 year old and had 24,000 miles on it. We needed a RELIABLE car and thought this would be great. We've now had it 15 months, put 28,000 miles on it and it's going to cost us thousands of dollars to replace the engine. The mechanic said a faulty valve spring put a hole in the piston and now we have to replace the engine. So we're stuck with a van we owe lots of money on, that we've only had for a year, and we have to come up with the money to fix it. The mechanic said it was probably that way from manufacturer and they're surprised it lasted as long as it did. Just my luck that it made it until our warranty expired. We only had the 1 vehicle and we're having to rent a car while all of this is going on. We will never buy another GM product again.
