In December/08 my son was dropping off a friend and was slowly leaving the yard when one of the air bags in the drivers seat exploded for no reason. Because of the kms on my vehicle GM would not do anything about it. The mechanics at the GM shop had never heard of this before and said as long as the display light was on then the rest of them would be disabled, as I was concerned about them going off. Guess what...It happened again yesterday Feb 17/09 to the other seat now. We cannot afford to fix the problem because it would cost more money than the van is worth, its apparently very expensive. I'm scared to drive it now in case the one in the steering wheel decides to explode. Never another Chev product again!!! Seems to us that this should be a recall item. What are the chances of that happening????
