Had to top up the brake fluid, that was the first clue. Second clue was the brakes making a big noise right at the end of each stop. Took the wheels off to clean things up and noticed both wheel cylinders were leaking. Ruined some good shoes. Mechanic says this is a known problem for the vehicle.
