: the contact stated gasoline fumes were detected inside the vehicle. Upon inspection, it was determined the fuel line was corroded. The fuel line was replaced. Updated 03/17/06.
I purchased a 2000 Chevrolet Venture van this past Aug.2003, (mil. 57,900 );at a local dealership.this Nov.2003, it developed a severe gas line leakage.taking it in for a check of the source, it was found to have a pressure line gas leak(the line rusted in the engine ompartment, by the drivers side fenderwell.this situation in my opinion is a fire hazard!!!! this vehicle is almost new!!!!!!!!the van now has only 58,312 miles on it.
