The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Uplander. Due to the amount of snow in the area, the contact had to drive through a lot of snowbanks. He lost control of the steering wheel because the vehicle shook uncontrollably. While driving through the snow banks, the snow impacts the inside of the aluminum rims. The dealer stated that the low profile tires caused the vehicle to shake. The only remedy would be to install a plate in the tires to prevent snow from entering the rim. The failure also throws all four tires out of balance. The dot number and manufacturer of the rims were unknown. The failure mileage was 16,724. Updated 02-23-09 updated 02/26/09. Updated 02/26/09.
