Front brake rotors warped at 25000 kilometers. Had a GM dealership where we bought it (over a hour away) and put on new rotors and pads. They help with the cost a bit but we still payed $400.00. They warped again at 50000 kilometers. This time we went to a local GM dealership. They did an inspection and told me to do the front brakes would be $500.00. I freaked and called the GM customer hotline to complain and see what they would do. Four hours later they agreed to knock off $100.00. At this point I just wanted it fixed and to get out of the place so I told them to go ahead. About six months after that the dealership was closed. Everything was good until we hit about 80000 kilometers and the front rotors were warped again, Went to another local dealer and after a brake inspection they told me that the front and rear brakes needed to be done and would cost $900 and change. I told them that I would take it else where to be fixed. A independent mechanic that has his own shop on the corner where I work looked at the brakes. Front rotors were warped, left caliper was stuck and rear brakes were still good. He put on some after brakes for $550.00. We still have those brakes on the car 60000 kilometers later. Swore I would never enter another GM dealer.
