: the contact stated that the driver's side sliding door slid shut as the contact's child entered the vehicle. The contact was walking around to the other side of the vehicle, when the sliding door slid shut pinning the child to the door causing injury to the chest wall, face, scalp, and spine. There were no problems prior to the incident. The dealership determined that the sliding door catches were worn down after one year and new door catches were replaced.
