Going at speeds 60-70, transmission slips and is jerky, pulsating symptoms. Unsure if transmission slipping or brake malfunction. Going at speeds lower, very hard gear shifts. Using adaptive cruise control at speeds 60-70, car slammed on brakes for no apparent reason and remained using the break, would let off (clear and wide open in front of me).

The contact stated it was like the brakes had engaged or the transmission was slipping. There were no warning lights illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 579.
