I bought a used 2017 Chevy TRAX. a mouth after purchase my engine hot light came on. Added antifreeze just thought it was an oversight from dealer. My car had 42501 miles driver off lot. Maybe a month later engine hot light came on again. Checked antifreeze again and overflow tank is empty and there is a little smoke coming from overflow. I stopped at the nearest auto store to purchase antifreeze, waited for cooldown, added antifreeze. maybe 7 days later same scenario. Also I'm seeing antifreeze leak on ground where I park. Took to shop and told them I had an antifreeze leak. diagnostics said the same thing.

While many of the complaints were for 2016-2019 water pump replacements those cars had over 100K miles. How come GMC has not called a recall on these models when the miles is under 50K and this issue occur. I am single, and on Social security and to have to replace something so relevant to operation and still have car payment is not good for someone living check to check. I most definitely didn't think that I would have this $1263 dollar bill so soon after purchase. Very disappointed with my Chevy Trax.
