The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH and depressing the brake pedal, the message "Brake Assist Failure" was displayed. The contact was able to pull over to the side of the road. The contact stated upon turning off and restarting the vehicle, the message was no longer displayed, and the vehicle operated as needed. The contact stated while driving 25-30 MPH at the airport, the failure recurred. The contact stated that upon turning off and restarting the vehicle several times, the failure persisted. The messages "Brake Assist Failure" and "Forward Collision Not Available" were displayed, and the check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to drive 5 MPH and pulled over to a safe location. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the brake master cylinder had failed and needed to be replaced. The dealer was awaiting the parts to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 1,900.
The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the check engine warning light illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to several dealers and the contact was informed that the issue was related to the OnStar feature. The contact called OnStar but was informed that the App was not responsible for the check engine warning light being illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and a reset was performed of the check engine warning light. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the transmission unexpectedly downshifted without warning. In addition, the contact stated that upon turning off the vehicle, an abnormal, banging sound was coming from the engine. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer however, the cause of the failure was not yet determined; however, the contact was informed that the front drive axle was leaking. The front drive axle was replaced; however, the failures persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance and the contact was provided a case number. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 500.
I was driving in the rain and drove through a puddle something I have done many times with previous vehicles. All of a sudden the car stopped accelerating. I would press the gas, the engine would rev, but the car would barely move if at all. I barely made it to a safe location.

The contact stated that the driver-??s side door became inoperable, with the plastic frame hanging off the door of the vehicle. The vehicle was restarted on the third attempt; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was driven to the dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the catalytic convertor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 3,900.

During incident warning appeared on dash stating reduced acceleration drive with care.
