The contact owns a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated while driving approximately 45 MPH, the check engine warning light illuminated. The parking brake symbol also displayed on the instrument panel. Additionally, the instrument panel then went blank. The contact drove the vehicle to his residence and parked the vehicle. The contact then noticed that after turning the vehicle off, the radio remained on and the contact was unable to manually turn off the radio. The contact attempted to start the vehicle the following day and the battery was drained. The contact had the vehicle jump-started and drove the vehicle to a dealer who attempted to diagnose the vehicle however, all the data had been erased. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 29,700.
