Bought this car the day after Christmas 2018 1 or 2 days later we noticed the car jerking between 18-30 mph. It took a few days for them to be able to check the vehicle but when they did they told me it was too much factory grease. So they cleaned it up and drained the transmission fluid, refilled it and I got it back. They told me to drive it for 200 more miles and it should work itself out.
So I drove it the 200 miles and it got worse. Took it back and they said the torque converter needs replaced so they had my car for a week working on that. Got my car back and it seemed to be ok until 10 days later when it started jerking again. They currently have my vehicle yet again and now say it needs a new transmission.
I bought this car with 200 miles on it and don't really think I should have to be dealing with this on a brand new car but for now I am stuck with it, as they refuse to replace it with a new one. They keep saying it's a fluke thing because there are no other reports like this on any other 2019 traverses.
Update from Jul 29, 2019: After putting a new torque converter in and still having the same problems, they wanted to try another new torque converter but they agreed to a new transmission. After the transmission was replaced the car drove awesome. After fighting with the dealership for a while, they did reimburse me the entire first months payment seeing as how they had the car 1/2 the time that we owned it.
