While driving my 2019 Traverse, when I aggressive breaking and doing a U-turn I cannot accelerate afterwards, when I push the gas pedal down to the floor it doesn't accelerate. I've been almost hit multiple times because vehicle will not accelerate after doing a U-turn. I have multiple vehicles and I keep forgetting about this dangerous defect when I'm driving it. Has happened since they own the car about eight times.
While trying to press the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor, it hangs up mid-travel. Applying additional pressure causes the pedal to travel all the way to the floor. The dealer says this is "normal". accelerator pedal travel should be smooth and linear; anything else is unacceptable. Just ask Toyota.
My vehicle has the fuel economy shutdown system and it's not working. It used to shot down while on a stop and then restart whenever the breaks were not engaged now it's not doing anything. The auto stop doesn't work it's stays on a high idle at all times
