The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that while stopped at a traffic light, the accelerator pedal was depressed however, the vehicle was slow to respond. The contact became aware that the accelerator pedal was detached from the floorboard. The contact slowly drove into a service station and had the vehicle towed to her residence. The contact called shaheen Chevrolet (632 american rd, lansing, mi 48911, (517) 394-0330) and informed the dealer of the failure. The contact was advised to schedule an appointment to have the vehicle diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 61,000.
I was parked at a store doing grocery pick up. The car was running, and when the clerk finished loading my trunk, I closed the trunk door, and the car would not shift into reverse for me to leave the parking spot. I ended up having to turn the car off and on again for it to work.
I was slowing down to make a turn and as I turned the steering wheel the vehicle get like it either locked up or went into neutral. I had no control over acceleration.
Cruising at freeway speed, press down on the gas pettal and trans up shifts and goes to a lower gear and jerks so hard it fills like you have hit from the rear. It did this 5 times.
