Emissions Recall - General Motors has decided to conduct a voluntary emissions recall involving certain vehicles that are equipped with a 2.0L engine. The Engine Control Module (ECM) in these vehicles may not respondto test tools with the correct Calibration Verification Number (CVN). If not corrected, this could result in a failure ofan emissions Inspection and Maintenance (I/M) test or prevent a servicetechnician from confirming that the appropriate program data is in the ECM. Dealers are to reprogram the Engine Control Module (ECM) with the corrected software.
