This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician that when the installation of the navigation map update outlined in bulletin 16NA328 or after, may encounter an Invalid Product Update message. Technician will need to gather scan tool data, software numbers and error messages. Technician will need to contact General Motors Technical Assistance Center with the information for further assistance.
