Never had an air conditioning compressor blow on a foreign car. This Chevy is costing me mucho dinero in maintenance after 100K miles. It's like they engineered it to make 100k miles and my fault I didn't go trade in for a new one. The lines were leaking also, and they have to take the front end down and move other parts out to the way to do this repair, seems every repair is that way on the Traverse.
I had to replace the compressor. AC blew but there wasn't any cool air coming out of the vents. I live in Texas, so, AC is important. this is the second time I had to have the AC fixed.
A 4 year old car suddenly has a MAJOR problem happen. AC compressor dying and busting on me. I had extended warranty, but only covered the AC compressor, NOT the hoses and this cost me $798 out of pocket.
Insane . Chevrolet FAILED to recognize that it has to be a manufacture problem that should have been fixed at their expense for using poor quality products. The quality in the parts used by the manufacture are cheap. Robbing owners.
Never will a BUY another car for Chevy. This is our 3rd car and FINAL
Update from Apr 4, 2017: AC problem again. Originally fixed in June 06 2016, taken again a SECOND time now in April 03 2017, my car is at the dealer from the AC.
NEW Problem to add: Power steering is leaking. I noticed a noise when I make a rt or left turn.
