CarComplaints.com Notes: There are a fair-number of power steering related complaints which is a continuation of problems from the previous model year. Considering the problem tends to happen beyond the standard warranty (73k+) it's best to avoid this vehicle or at least be prepared for the $1,300+ repair.

I bought my Traverse 7/2014. Since then the air conditioning went out, the power outlet stopped working, the Pinions in the steering column were leaking and NOW my brake light keeps coming on, the traction control keeps saying its off. In addition the recall of the lift gate
I just got the oil changed and tires rotated at the dealer. When I got home the oil light was not reset and the brake and traction signals kept coming on. I called the dealer and they said no problem bring it back we will check it out.
I take it to the Dublin Chevrolet and they want to charge $170 to look at it. I guess Chevy is not concerned about the safety of its customers! They will check the car for free if the engine light comes on but not the brake light! what BS.
I'm sooooooo disappointed in my purchase! I did buy my car used at 39k miles and I bought the extended warranty which is out now. I never expected this car to have so many issues and I have only had it 1year and half and I still owe 24k on it.
my Dodge Charger is doing better then my Chevy at 150K miles!
I will never buy another Chevy :(
