So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Vehicles stabilitrac light comes on constantly. Repair listed for code is not the problem. Had same issue with my 2006 Trailblazer. Light comes on sporadically, even when backing out of my driveway at low rate of speed.
The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that the service stabilizer warning light would illuminate sporadically. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer were notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 52,500 and the current mileage was 54,000. I was driving down a state highway with my cruise control set at 57 mph and all of the sudden all of the lights came on in the console. My on star did not work, nor did the radio or anything electrical in my vehicle. My vehicle was still running, but none of the gauges, lights, windows, etc. Were working. I pulled to the side of the road and then drove it to the dealership. The dealership kept the vehicle for 3 weeks and were not able to diagnose nor fix the problem. All of the sudden 3 weeks later they got into the vehicle and the problem had resolved itself.
While driving at freeway speeds, front wheels went into a speed wobble, I lightly applied the brakes and it became worse. I took the Trailblazer to the Michelin tire dealer and he found nothing wrong with the balance or run-out on the tires, so I then took the car to the dealership, and they could not find any problem.
