The ignition switch has always been hard to turn since the day I bought it. When you insert the ignition key, you have to rock the steering wheel to get the ignition switch to engage so you can turn the key. Sometimes it takes several tries before it will work. Pulling the key out and turning it over is another trick if the rocking doesn't work.
