This gauge flip-flops more than a politician during election season. Some report that the gauge says "empty" after a fill-up, while others report the gauge says "full" when they're running on fumes. Either way, there's one thing everyone seems to agree on: the darn thing is just wrong.
Following hundreds of complaints and a few accidents allegedly caused by the malfunction, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) opened an investigation into the issue in May 2011. Unfortunately for frustrated owners, no recall has been announced.

Seat moves while driving, we have a occasional problem with the electric seat position. While driving and in gear the seats will relocate. My wife has the seat mostly forward and while driving the seat moves backward. One time she could not step on the break to avoid hitting the car in front. She nearly crashed into the car. This has happened several times. GM is not willing to investigate. One person said to tell the dealership when we crash because of this. Also the driver side mirror will at times change position while driving with it set in the neutral position but not associated with the seat movement.
