CarComplaints.com Notes: Carrying the not-so-proud traditions of its 2002 predecessor, the 2003 has a handful of instrument panel malfunctions that can leave you guessing your speed, engine temperature or how much gas is left in the tank.
I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU MAKE SURE YOUR UNDER-CARRIAGE MOUNTED TIRE CAN BE REMOVED BEFORE YOU NEED IT.
I got a flat, called someone to put on the spare and they can't get the tire down. We read the manual and try to release the secondary latch but no luck. I take it to my tire place and they can't get it down either, says it's a dealer repair.
The dealer quote a price between $200 and $250 to repair, but I have other things that need urgent attention so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed I don't need it any time soon.
