My 2008 Tahoe suddenly just lost power and stopped on the road with no warning. It was towed to the dealership. The issue was described to me as a computer chip that essentially is the motherboard for the vehicle. GM did not seem at all concerned about the problem. I am astonished and outraged at GM's lack of concern. I shudder to think what might have happened had I been on the freeway when the car stopped dead with my entire family in the vehicle. Fortunately, I was on a side street, although the vehicle stopped dead in the middle of an intersection and all the cars had to go around me until the tow truck arrived.
