This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a lifter that has collapsed and is stuck in the lifter bore when completing 15-06-01-002A. Technician will use vice grips with a slide hammer to remove the lifter. Or the technician can use vice grip and a pry bar. If the lifter will not come out the engine will need to be replaced.
