The dash is cracked in two separate places and could compromise the safety if the airbags are released as the result of a crash.

When I bought the vehicle 2 years ago it was immaculate, then about a year ago I noticed the dashboard was cracking. I really like my Tahoe and I think this is a manufacturing defect and should be replaced by Chevy.

Bought used 2010 Chevy Tahoe from dealership in August of 2013 and 4 months later cracks started to appear on the dashboard and continue to get worse. Benson Chevrolet offered to fix it for $800 and offered us a great deal of 20% off. Wow!!! Thanks Benson Chevrolet! I will never buy another Chevy again. You would think that a $60K vehicle would hold up a little longer than 3 years. At least they stand behind their crappy product...
