I know we are not the only ones with this problem, my sister's suburban did the same thing. When I have the a/c on, the driver's side of the car will put out heat. And in the winter when I have the heat on, the driver's side will put out cool air. I know she had her car fixed, but I refuse to pay for an obviously bad design flaw. I can live with it, and have, but it is annoying as hell.
