The steering wheel is peeling. I have taken my Tahoe to the Chevy dealer and they have said it is not covered under the warranty-It looks like hell and keeps on peeling!
Peeling steering wheel. Told there was nothing that could be done was very costly to repair and Chevrolet would not pay to fix. Told they did not have a problem with peeling steering wheels. I know that with the cracked dashboard and peeling steering wheel this will lower my value of car. I do have a recall on the chrome handles to be replaced by Chevrolet and feel if that was bad enought to have a recall the above problems could also be. Please let me know if anyone else had these problems. I love my Tahoe , this is my 3rd Tahoe.
The Passenger Front Seat Leather Stiching is popping loose, when you pay 46,000 dollars for a vehicle I expect that the seats can stand up to every day use. The seats are very uncomfortable i might add.
THE TRIM ON THE A/C CONTROL BUTTONS PEELS OR RUBS OFF! WE'VE HAD THE ENTIRE A/C CONTROL PANEL REPLACED BECAUSE SUPPOSEDLY THIS WAS THE ONLY SOLUTION AND WE PAID $100 WITH OUR EXTENDED WARRANTY. WELL, NOT EVEN A YEAR LATER, IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN!!!!!!!! HOW CHEAPLY MADE IS THIS VEHICLE? WE'VE ALWAYS BEEN CHEVROLET LOYAL, BUT I'M STARTING TO REGRET MY PURCHASE!
Update from Aug 4, 2010: AGAIN THEY REPLACED THE ENTIRE A/C CONTROL PANEL, LET'S SEE HOW LONG IT LASTS.
