We were on vacation and one hour away from our destination when the low oil pressure warning came on. When I accelerated, the oil pressure was fine. The last day of our trip, we were on the way to gas up the Tahoe. Then, the engine lifters started sounding off and the low oil pressure warning was going off. Pilchet Chevy, in Tyler, TX, reported to me that I needed a new engine due to metal shavings being found in my oil pan and that this was clogging up the suction tube which fed oil to my truck. No warranty anymore! HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN? CHEVY IS THE WORST MANUFACTURER! I will never buy another! In this economy, who has $6000 laying around!? It makes me sick that this is the kind of quality that they have! The only consolation is that I now have a 100,000 mile warranty! Never again Chevy!! NEVER AGAIN! I hop that you all go down the shitter like you should have until Obama saved your asses! I had two Ford Mustang GTs that I ran harder than this damn Chevy! One had 172,000 in the end when I got hit and totaled, and the other had 155,000 when I traded it in!! NO PROBLEMS! I had to replace the transmission at 106,000 miles, now this on the Tahoe?! NEVER AGAIN MAN,.... NEVER EVER AGAIN!
