On August 19 2005 the owner was told by a friend that the emergency brake was worn out. The owner checked the emergency brake and it was worn. There was no indication that the emergency brake was worn. Owner has never used the emergency brake. The owner got in the vehicle and set the emergency brake, then the truck rolled forward as if there was no emergency brake. There were no other problems with the vehicle.
