I bought a 2003 Chevy Tahoe from a Chevy Dealership and three days later it decided not to start while I am on a date. I had someone jump my Tahoe and then it started but then it wouldn't let me go over 20 MPH. Oh I was pissed and luckily my date was cool about it. I took her home and she said, "well I'd invite you up to my apartment but your truck probably wouldn't start again if you turn it off". This was the first time I have been "blocked" by my own vehicle and it was horrible. Next day it wouldn't start so I had my friend jump it for me. This time the vehicle was fine and I was able to drive above 20 MPH back to the dealership.
I got to the dealership and told the service department guy my situation. He said it was under thirty days so they would fix the problem and give me a rental for free. It ended up being a bad battery which was replaced. Now the vehicle works great. Vehicles now days are full of electronics and sensors, if one thing goes out or doesn't work then other stuff goes out.
