The driver side mirror has started distorting and leaking a brown liquid substance. It has discolored the paint on the side of the vehicle and the step bar. Objects appear distorted/doubled and mirror has a haze to it.
The contact owns a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe. While parked, the contact noticed discoloration of the front driver's sideview mirror, reducing her visibility. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 52,000.
