This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The headliner on my 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe lt has been losing the retainer plugs since I took delivery on the truck in 2001. I have had the dealer replace the headliner because they "claimed" it was the wrong one for the truck. Since it was replaced and plugs replaced numerous times, they decided that it wasn't critical enough to warrant new design or repair. My headliner has dropped down and remains so today. Their fix is to wrap felt around the plugs and "Ram them back in" as the service writer explained to me. This is unexceptable to me and I have tried to get them to fix it another way to no avail.
