Have been complaining about soft brakes since the odometer read 18000. The master cylinder was replaced and I have paid for new front brakes twice and was told that the new braking systems did not last as long. Dealer told me that is just the way the new cars are. I have taken to an independent brake shop and they told me the car looks like it has 70000+ miles on it when it is less than 2 years old and has 33000 miles on it. It needs a complete brake overhaul and is deemed unsafe to drive. The total cost of the repair will be 1112.96
When making 1 out of 50 to 100 normal brake applications vehicle will not stop. Consumer will press harder which will activate ABS. Consumer has taken vehicle to dealer 3 times. Dealer replaced master cylinder, but defect has reoccurred. Tsb had been issued which stated defect was normal. The consumer experienced a delay in brake reaction on numerous occasions. The problem occurs at speeds of 25-35 mph cause air bag light comes on at times due to internal failure.
