The contact's son owns a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe equipped with Mickey Thompson Deegan 38 All-Terrain TIRES, TIRE SIZES 265/65/18. The contact stated that while his son was traveling at 25 MPH, the left rear driver side tire blew out without warning. The contact's son was not injured. The contact stated that the entire sidewall had blown out from the tire. The contact's son was able to replace the tire with a spare. The contact had reached out to the tire manufacturer where they informed him that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 21T002000 (TIRES). The tire had yet to be replaced. The failure mileage was unknown. Vin was unavailable
The right front tire and both rear tire treads separated at the same time. Consumer also reporting sidewall failure of tires. The vehicle has had the tires replaced three times (bf goodrich long tread wear tires). Please provide any additional information / documentation. Returned usps, 2nd attempt made 06/08/07 failed.
Consumer was traveling about 65mph on highway and heard a noise. He was able to pull vehicle to the shoulder. Left driver's side tire rear sidewall completly gone. There was no injuries. Tire was a B.F.goodrich, radial long trail T/a, #P245/75R16,109S M+S. tconsumer has contacted B.F.goodrich.
You need to pump the brakes in order to feel responsive/ I'm told I'ts normal /uniroyal factory tires are all ready breaking down at sidewalls at 5,000 miles/told it is normal/air constantly comes through center lower vent when system is shut down, told this is also normal... I disagree thank-you( dot number: 00000000 tire size: 16 )
