Air conditioning manifold hose is broken on 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe - extended warranty does not cover replacement. According to two mechanics contacted - they are apparently a frequent repair made on this vehicle. One of the two mechanics spoken to was in the process of repairing the very same item at the time of the phone call.
There is a popping sound coming from underneath the vehicle. The dealer determined that the plastic fuel tank is expandable and causes this popping sound. Nlm dealer remedied problem and found the exhaust system to be the problem.
