This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Vehicle shudders when braking from high speeds, and pulls to the side when braking from low speeds, vehicle was inspected and it was determined that the right front hub leaked grease on the pad and brake drum rendering the brakes useless, the cause was a seal leaking, four months later consumer experienced problems again, mechanic found that both rear axle seals had leaked grease/oil on both rear brakes rendering then useless and causing excessive wear on the front brakes, consumer requested that the rear axle be replaced entirely which would probably eliminate the brake failure, however dealer stated that they only replaced the axle seals.
All of the gearings had to be replaced two times. First replacement was at 10000 miles. Dealership has advised that problem existed because weight limit was exceeded. Consumer was not exceeding weight limit. Right rear axle seal and another seal on drive shaft failed.
