Serpentine belt tensioner completely blew apart causing loss of belt. Loss of power steering and electrical charging. Belt wrapped around fan causing overheating of engine. Complete replacement of tensioner/pulley and belt necessary.
Serpentine belt tensioner pulley assembly failed, broke off while vehicle was coming to a stop, causing loss of brakes and power steering, which almost resulted in a crash.
