I realize my Tahoe is 22 years old, but why was nothing ever done about the sudden jerking of the steering wheel when turning right onto a ramp or sometimes just driving down the highway? I’ve read there is a valve on the back of the power steering pump that fails. The power steering stops working momentarily without warning, then re-engages. This is definitely a safety issue.
