The contact owns a 2016 Chevrolet Suburban. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated upon depression of the accelerator pedal. The check engine warning light was illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle had stalled while driving on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that four fuel injectors were faulty and needed to be replaced. The contact was provided an estimate for the repair and was informed that there was a special coverage program related to the failure. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was not covered under the special coverage program. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 123,000.
