This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have a Service Engine Soon with Diagnostic Trouble Code P0300 and an engine misfire. Technician will need to inspect the valve operation, if the valve or valves are not moving the Active Fuel Management lifters and guide on the bank with the concern and the oil pump and oil pan assembly should be replaced.
