I started the vehicle and began backing up. The Service Side Blind Zone Alert System light came on AGAIN. Cycling the ignition off and then on again seemed to fix the problem again

Update from Dec 31, 2016: Related to the short in the courtesy light module. Module was replaced by dealer under warranty and problem has not returned.
