Yet another electronics problem. The clock showed no time at all. Went to menu to set time and it was blank. I cycled the ignition off and then on and the clock came back on with the correct time.
Update from Dec 31, 2016: This was also related to the short in the courtesy light module. Module was replaced by dealer under warranty.
