I started the vehicle and pushed the button for the seat A/C. The A/C would not come on (either side). I cycled the ignition off and then on again and it still would not work. After the second attempt the A/C worked properly.

Update from Dec 31, 2016: This was related to a short in the courtesy light module. Repaired by dealer after it was finally correctly diagnosed.
