Michelin ltx M/S2 size 275/55R20. I purchased a set of 4 new tires on June 26, 2015 from national tire and battery. Two of the 4 tires were manufactured in 2013. Weeks 28 and 31. The other 2 tires were manufactured in 2015. The two tires made in 2013 are experiencing the tread coming off, peeling, and chunks missing out of the tread. These are not in the Michelin ltx recall by a few weeks. The 2015 tires are fine. How they are allowed to sell 2 year old tires as new is beyond me but these old tires are not safe in my opinion.

On 9/23/12 while changing a flat, it was discovered that the spare tire has rubbing on the side walls. The spare tire has never been used as we just bought the vehicle new. Brought this to the attention of the dealership on 9/24/12 as to how we should secure the spare without causing rubbing again. They advised they would look into it and call us back. Still have not heard anything. Concerned with continued rubbing on the side walls if we should ever need to use the spare again as it can blow out.
