A bar with rollers on it (the front part of the seat locking mechanism) needs to go under the seat…it is locked in front of the seat preventing the latches from connecting with the hold-down bars in the floorboards. I removed both 3rd row seats a while ago and attempted to reinstall them today…one worked fine. The other did not. I need to carry 6 passengers tomorrow and now I have a 5 passenger car and an extra 3rd row seat that doesn't lock in place. Murphy's law is that it's Sunday and all of the Chevy Dealers are closed and I leave tomorrow at "0 dark 30".
