Service Suspension light came on while driving. Took to dealership and they said the auto-leveling shocks needed to be replaced. We had just done that about a year prior.
The electronic shocks wear out at about the same rate as a normal conventional shock, not a big deal. What is a big deal, Chevrolet has not provided any solution to turn off this electronic system in order to be able to use a regular passive shock. Your options are, replace with new OEM shocks (there is only one manufacturer and they are very expensive) or look at aftermarket solutions that fool the computer into thinking the electronic shocks are still working, which although they are cheaper they have their own issues to deal with.
