Had just purchased this suburban and drive 200 miles all interstate driving, not using cruse control, running average of 80mph. Was at our exit to switch from 412 to I35 went around the exit and onto the interstate, truck acted like it had no power. And all of a sudden it shifted hard enough I thought the transmission was laying in the road. Called the place I purchased it from and they agreed to take it to Griffiths Chevy in Neosho, Mo. Supposedly they flushed the tranny and ran test on it but of course nothing was found.
Still, to date I now have 229,000 miles on my truck and still have extremely hard shifting from 2nd to 3rd. I don't pull a trailer or use my truck for any type of excessive uses. I have had it in the local Chevy Dealership, several times. I have had the 4x4 buttons and module replaced. The dealership thought that possibly this would or could fix the issue with the tranny, but unfortunately it did not fix the tranny issue.
I love my truck but I'm so tired of this issue, I don't know if it's going to leave me and my family broke down on the side of the road or not. The dealership now acts as though they don't want to even mess with it and tell me that the service bulletins and recalls are not for my truck. I have not abused or over work my truck at all. I never use flex-fuel and it is services as supposed to be.
I just want my truck to run correctly, and yes I realize it has 229,000 miles on it.
